Berk Exhaust
Hey guys does anyone have a video for
Berk Street Exhaust (muffler delete) vs. Berk Exhaust + Berk Midpipes (or any kind of midpipes) Is there much difference in noise? I know the power would be not very noticeable, and I know DP's would be yield more power than both.

Here's my full sport exhaust (with muffler):
And here's the muffler delete (stock midpipes and downpipes) that I had before it:

No problem at all. I don't know how much you can tell in the videos, but under hard throttle they're about the same in terms of loudness, but at idle and less aggressive throttle, the full sport is less rough/slightly quieter/more refined. I like it because I can be just as loud when I want to be, but I don't have to worry about cops bothering me for the noise.
As for the dealership, mine didn't care. Most don't until you start messing with the downpipes/cats. Exhaust and intake mods are pretty innocuous as far as they're concerned.

I went with the Berk because it was offered as part of a complete package. I don't think there will be much difference in sound between the two.. except maybe Berk will sound a little nicer because it has two resonators to help keep the tone refined and reduce drone, whereas the N55 pipes only have one where the two pipes meet. The Berk is also nice and polished, and overall looks better, though nobody is looking under there, really. I'm not the best source of information for this, though, since I've never tried the N55 midpipes. It's just my speculation considering the 2 nice long resonators on the Berk vs the 1 boxy one on the N55 pipes.
