BMS Short Throw Clutch Stop Install comment/review
Dearest friends,
I just walked out to my 2 day old 135i, opened the door, reached behind the clutch pedal, removed squishy-small oem clutch stop, and popped the BMS one in with all 3 shims. My only question is: why include the removal of the panel under the dash in the instructions? I have fat hands and I was able to easily reach in and do the swap. Really enjoying the shorter distance to the floor. Best, Will

Instructions? I just stuck my hand in there and figured it out
I tried all three shim configurations and I found 2 shims to be the best. Best bang for you buck mod ever! |

Gives u a better subcontious feeling of how far to press the clutch to shift smoothly. Because there is less guessing room. Not because you're a bad driver but because it helps to eliminate all that pedal travel after the clutch is disengaged. Cant beat it for the $ and ease of install

Correct me if I'm wrong on this but it sounds like you just making it where the clutch only goes down say 80% of the way thus not engaging the clutch 100%
