Get inspection before warranty expires?
Hey all,
My warranty is expiring in early September. Still not sure if I should go for an extended warranty (I'm open to thoughts on that). Assuming I do not, does anyone think it is worth having my dealer do an inspection ahead of warranty expiration? They offer both 1 and 2 hour inspections. ($160 and $315). My SA says that while obviously the inspection cannot predict future failures, it can catch items that I may not have had symptoms for, but are already failed. Or items in the early stages of failure. I'm just not sure how likely it would be for these to realistically catch anything that I could get fixed on warranty, before my warranty expires. Thoughts? Has anyone gone through a similar process? Thanks |

Ya,
I am just not sure about the extended warranty. I think what is being offered is pretty good: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=684807 But I wonder if I'm realistically going to need it - and if I do need it will the $ value being fixed be more than the cost of warranty? Of course this always the question/gamble. |
Appreciate
