Woke up to this!!! So mad...

Why do people tend to do this? How hard is it to open your doors without banging / dinging other people's cars? My car isn't even a month old yet and I see this!!!

This is on the front passenger side. Any way this can be fixed without taking it to the body shop?

you might be able to buff it out... if it is just to the clear coat you should be ok, but if has gone deeper than that you might want to take it to the body shop...

Ugh that type of stuff drives me nuts, whenever im in a tight space i make every effort to open my door slowly with my hand on it. It seems like a basic courtesy to me, but many many drivers seem to disagree. Try buffing it out, i cant tell if its down to the base coat or not. GL.

Its hard to tell but is that a dent? If so, I've used 'Ding king' to pop out dents in a few of my older cars. I dont know if they sell it anymore but it worked for me since the paint wasn't chipped or cracked.

is Ding King similar to Dent Doctor? I can't see the base paint (maybe bad angle), but it is a bit rough. I think I can get it buffed out; however I'm not sure about the dent. Can definitely try though...

My only comment is I walk further to give myself better odds on this sort of thing. The other thing I do is to park where there is nobody on the right of me (up against an island or something). Most cars have only 1 person so with nobody on the right, nobody is opening a door towards you.

This.
And sorry about your car, but it would have been no better if it came after 2 years. It's still bound to happen.
