BMW M5 around Daytona
Some of you may have already seen, but I didn't see it posted yet.
When will they book Daytona for an owners event? ![]() Found the following additional vid this morning (chase car, but perhaps a diff run): 3-shot: Last edited by johntomferg; 01-31-2013 at 05:22 AM.. |

Awesome vid
More body roll than I would have expected

I was lucky enough to get a ride Saturday morning. I couldn't stop giggling all the way around. We drifted door to door around both horseshoe turns and hit the rev limiter on the back straight! Awesome ride!

I agree, and the second vid is a good addition. IND had posted a video quite some time ago with some on track video of a stock M5, and a lot of body roll in their vid as well. I'm sure someone will have adjustable sway bars for front and rear before summer arrives. I hope that oversteer was a driver choice for style points and not something that will have to be defeated with chassis tuning.
