Lease Help BMW M5
Hey Guys,
I am considering a 2013 BMW M5. I emailed my local dealer in Houston for lease quotes and was quoted $56,542.00 for a 2YR/20K Lease $109,072.00 MSRP. 58% Residual,.00220 Money factor. This quote is outrageous considering all the payments are made up front removing the (6% interest) Background INFO: i have owned a 2012 X5M for 6 Months. Are their any rebates for former BMW customers and what rebates are out now? Im considering waiting for the 2014 model. I don't want to pay cash for this car as it has poor resale value. |

$3500 Holiday Cash $750 Loyalty Cash $700 Drive App $1000 BMW CCA (if you are a member; must be done separately) My MSRP was $127,xxx and two year $2,5xx or three year $2,0xx. My MF was .00180 but that was in January or February. I think my Residual was 56% for 24mo.. looks like it went up some, but still not great. Maybe after you complete a credit app, BMW FS will give a better figure? My last lease, it was cheaper to do 24/10k and pay out the over mileage ahead of end of term. Strange, right? Here in South FL, there are a ton of M5's sitting at dealer lots.. a lot are fully loaded and some are even Individal (paint only). Have you seen the same at your local dealers? I would just call around some more.. someone with a lot of inventory will give you a good deal. The incentives will help a lot.. but as I said I think some expired early March (probably holiday cash). So, look into that quickly. Sorry I don't have more info. I dont have March numbers but I think your MF is defiantly high.. Your $2,355 a month should be a bit lower.. and if you do three years you should be somewhere under $1,800? I got prices a while ago on a fully loaded standard M5 and it was close to your MSRP if I remember correctly (~109). I'll try to find the numbers. For 2014 M/Y, you would be taking delivery around September. If you wait, you will be getting the LCI (updated heads and tails.. maybe updated iDrive controller). What are the advantages of getting it from a leasing company vs a dealer. A local leasing company quoted me 1390 a month, 10k per year on a 36 month lease with about 3000 cap cost reduction. msrp of the car was about 104k
