13 M5 Steering wheel question

Hi guys,

My build was after the March updates, but I am wondering if this is on all M5's. My steering wheel is very sensitive. It feels the slightest imperfection on the road and even has a slight vibration when I start the car, it seems to transmit the engine vibration... Not really complaining about it but just wonder if you all have that too?

No it's pretty smooth. I had a lot of vibration when I bought the car, but it was a defective tire causing it.

Some people have reported that the steering does have vibration when new, which goes away after 2k miles once the bushings get broken in.

Lots of people do report this. Mine did it for at least a few hundred miles or so. Went away on its own. Drives you nuts once you are aware of it! Try to ignore it and know it will likely disappear soon.

Mine still does it from time to time, not sure what is going on there. In addition, if you have the lane alerting on, it will vibrate the steering wheel if you get out of your lane without flashing. I keep that turned off.

Iv had the car for 3400 miles now... Its not that it is bothering me, just feels sometimes weird. When standing still and turning the wheel, sometimes the steering wheel will give almost to much feedback. I am not bothered by it. But it does not seem usual I guess according to your responses.

I'm having this too. Anyone ever get this figured out? It's a pain during long trips, and the vibration can get tiring.
